Tracy Ann Kennedy, a stockholder and director of the Grand Forks Law Firm of Zimney Foster P.C., has been selected by her peers for inclusion in the 2012 Edition of The Best Lawyers In America in the practice areas of bankruptcy and creditor debtor rights, insolvency and reorganization law. Selection to Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive and rigorous peer-review survey (comprising more than 3.9 million confidential evaluations by fellow attorneys) and because no fee or purchase is required to be listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor. The publication has been described by The American Lawyer as "the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice."
Tracy started with Zimney Foster in 1997 while a student at UND School of Law, and upon being awarded her Juris Doctor and Law License in 1999, she became a Firm member, practicing banking and commercial law. Kenney is also Adjunct Faculty at UND School of Law where she teaches UCC Secured Transactions and Faculty of the Dakota School of Banking. She is a Minot, North Dakota native.
Tracy joins her law partner John Foster in the firm in Best Lawyers, who has been listed in that directory since 1987. In 2011, the law firm was give a top rank rating by Best Lawyers in collaborarion with U.S News and World Report.
