Joshua Fershee Presents at two Energy Symposiums
Associate Dean for Academic Affairs & Research and Associate Professor of Law, Joshua Fershee presented at two energy law symposiums on March 30, 2012.
University of Houston Law Center's Environmental & Energy Law & Policy Journal's annual series focus on the intersection of environmental and energy law. This year's symposium, American Energy Independence: An "all of the above" Strategy for our Energy Policy, hosts numerous speakers with varying viewpoints on complex issues. The symposium also attracts a diverse audience that includes industry professionals, environmental advocates, and outside counsel from the Houston and Gulf Coast areas. Professor Fershee will be presenting Two Tales of Shale: The Differences Between Hydraulic Fracturing for Oil and Gas. Full brochure can be found here.
Professor Fershee also spoke at the Texas Wesleyan School of Law's Fourth Annual Energy Symposium sponsored by the Texas Wesleyan Law Review. His will present, In Pursuit of Economic and Environmental Sustainability: Comparing Risks in Hydraulic Fracturing for Oil and Gas.
