William P. Johnson Publishes in Turkish Law Journal
Assistant Professor
William P. Johnson
recently published an article in the Ankara Law Review, an academic refereed journal published by the Ankara University Faculty of Law in Ankara, Turkey. The article, Turkey's Accession to the CISG: The Significance for Turkey and for Sales Transactions with U.S. Contracting Parties, 8 Ankara L. Rev. 1 (2011), addresses the importance of Turkey's recent decision to become a party to a body of international sales law known as the CISG, an international sales law the United States has been a party to for 24 years. The article has a particular focus on the implications Turkey's accession to the CISG has for business transactions involving U.S. companies.
