haberman@law.und.edu
David Haberman is Head of Student Services at the Thormodsgard Law Library at the UND School of Law. He also contributes to the development and maintenance of the Law School and Law Library websites. Each spring semester he teaches Intro to Law and Legal Studies, which is an introductory course covering a variety of topics related to the American legal system. The class is offered to a mixture of students - UND undergraduate students interested in the study of law and students attending the UND Law School as part of the international exchange program with the University of Oslo Law School.
Haberman attended UND, receiving a B.A. in Psychology in 1981 and a J.D. in 1984 from the School of Law. Prior to his current position Haberman practiced law in North Dakota and Minnesota - after law school in the Wahpeton area in general practice and later in the Grand Forks area as a public defender in Northwest Minnesota.
