The Van Sickle Senate of Delta Theta Phi
Delta Theta Phi is a national law fraternity that dates back to 1913, when it merged with 3 other national law fraternities. DTP, whose mission statement is to foster lifelong friendships and professional affiliations through legal education, international networking and mutual respect, is the only law fraternity with an authoritatively recognized law review. Delta Theta Phi also boasts a number of well known alumni, including high ranking politicians and judges. For more information on the national organization, please visit www.deltathetaphi.org.
The Van Sickle Senate at UND Law strives to create a positive social atmosphere for students to learn and grow by establishing contacts with upper classmen and alumni. We hold various social functions throughout the year, have a mentoring program where 1st year students are paired with upperclassmen, conduct review sessions before finals and participate in community service projects. Membership is open to all students who attend UND Law. Prior membership in another Greek organization does not preclude people from joining DTP.
