Welcome From Interim Dean Bradley Myers
I am privileged to be serving as the Interim Dean of the University of North Dakota School of Law. In my 17 years in Grand Forks I have watched a dedicated faculty and staff invest in the personal and professional growth of our students. While we focus efforts on high level scholarship and service to the university, profession and the public, the School of Law has always recognized preparing our students for the practice of law as our first and most important mission.
Our students arrive in Grand Forks from across the nation and around the world. We attract aspiring lawyers with a wide variety of experiences and backgrounds. While at the School of Law students will learn from a highly qualified and accessible faculty. Students have multiple opportunities to work in student organizations, perform pro bono service, and to learn by working at fields placements across the state and around the country. As the only law school in the state, we have unique access to and support from our judiciary and state bar. Our students leave not only prepared to join the legal profession, but having developed life-long friendships and professional connections.
While many of us do not hail from North Dakota, the values and character of our state infuse much of what we do. These include high standards of professionalism, a belief in the value of cooperation and collaboration, and a commitment to community and public service.
We invite you to see UND School of Law for yourself. To arrange a personalized tour, just call 1.800.CALL.UND or 701.777.2047 or send an email to admissions@law.UND.edu. We look forward to seeing you.
