History of Law Women's Caucus
The Law Women’s Caucus (LWC) is a decades old student organization at the University of North Dakota School of Law. Membership is open to all UND law students, faculty, and interested community members.
The purpose of LWC is to advance the rights and improve the position of women and all persons in society by furthering legal, civil, and human rights, and to foster a closer relationship between law students of the University of North Dakota and other legal and women’s organizations.
LWC has hosted several educational panels and offered Continuing Legal Education credits to UND alumni and other professionals in the community throughout the years on various topics ranging from domestic abuse to health care reform.
The generosity of former LWC members, such as Leslie Johnson Aldrich, has allowed the Law Women’s Caucus the privilege of awarding scholarships to outstanding members of the organization.
