    Associate Professors Julia L. Ernst and Michael S. McGinniss were elected as members of The American Law Institute, which is “the leading independent organization in the United States producing scholarly work to clarify, modernize, and otherwise improve the law.”

    Moot Court

    The North Dakota Supreme Court, as part of their two-day visit to the law school, judged the final round of the moot court competition. Second-year students Matt Kopp and Corey Haller defeated second-year students Peter Aiello and Erica Reeve to claim the championship.

    UND Law alumnus Al Royce, Class of 1976, was awarded the University's top award at the 2017 celebration of Homecoming.

    Distinguished Panel

    Santana Royer is a third-year student from Crosby, N.D.  She will serve as the Editor-in-Chief of the North Dakota Law Review and completed an internship this summer at a national firm for Indian Law in Omaha.
