Cultural Diversity Tuition Waiver

The University of North Dakota School of Law offers partial tuition waivers in order to encourage cultural diversity within our student body. Cultural diversity is multi-faceted and can be based on age, race/ethnicity, sex, disability, socioeconomic status, life experience, and other identifying characteristics. All applicants applying for the Cultural Diversity Tuition waiver must complete a personal statement in which they address the following:

  1. Describe your identifying characteristics or experiences that contribute to cultural diversity.
  2. Financial need for the Cultural Diversity Tuition Waiver.
  3. Current higher education status.
  4. Individual experience in overcoming adversity
  5. Career goals.
  6. How you would play a positive role in further developing an appreciation for cultural diversity on campus

Also, a description of your achievements and any other information relevant to this application would be welcomed.

By submitting the Cultural Diversity Tuition Waiver application form, you will attest that all information on the form is accurate and correct to the best of your knowledge. You must also authorize officials at the University of North Dakota School of Law to access your academic and financial aid records as needed to monitor your current and continued eligibility for this waiver program.
