Teaching Courtroom
Our Teaching Courtroom is the main feature of the new addition that was opened in fall of 2105. It is located on the ground floor of the new addition and is attached to our central commons. It has all of the technology and is set up like any courtroom you will see across the country. We hold our Trial Advocacy classes in here and the trial and moot court teams use it to practice as well. We have hosted the Federal District Court of North Dakota for live trials, including a real sentencing. The courtroom also has an attached jury room, which is know as the Jack Marcil Deliberation room, named for one of our outstanding alumni. Students take advantage of this courtroom for classes, trial practice and our internal moot court and trial competitions.
