Email 4: April 28, 2021

Hello Class of 2024 –

We are in week 1 of 2 for law student finals which means summer is quickly approaching and fall will be right behind it!! We are so excited to have you join us!

Items for this week:

  • Missing previous emails? – If you did not receive any of the prior emails (#1-3), please let me know so I can send those to you.
  • Fall 2021 – As of this email, we do intend to be on-campus, in-person for the Fall term. In this email, I’ve included a message that was drafted earlier this year and shared with applicants - you may have seen this before. If not, I’m including it today to ensure everyone receives the same message. As noted in the message, any updates will be provided to you as we receive them.

  • Class of 2024 Facebook Page – This group has been created for incoming 1L’s. I encourage you to join if you are interested in connecting with your future classmates. Take the opportunity to share information about who you are, find potential roommates or carpool buddies, ask local students for restaurant suggestions (I’m all about food!!), or whatever else is on your mind. At this time, this group is for incoming 1L’s only. Once the academic year begins, 2L and 3L students may join to share information about student organizations, law school events, etc. https://www.facebook.com/groups/898823710661763/
  • Gentle reminders – Take advantage of this time to complete FAFSA, Claim your NDUS account, consider housing options, etc. if you haven’t done so. If you do plan to reside on-campus, I encourage you to be in contact with the housing department about application deadlines to ensure you do not miss out on the opportunity.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Best,

Aleisha
