Hello Class of 2023,

July is upon us which means 2020 is half over! A secret part of me wants to start a countdown to school beginning but I don’t want to overwhelm anyone, so maybe next week 😉 . Also, Wednesday is almost over and I’m scrambling to write this so maybe I need to focus on that versus how many days are left until we meet and/or see one another!

For those who may have missed some important communication/emails that has been shared with UND & UND Law students, I have attached 3 different documents in this email.

1. UND Special Email 6/26/2020 – This email shares information about UND’s face coverings requirement.
2. Email from Assistant Dean Parrish – This email included a Memo from Dean Parrish and an updated Fall 2020 schedule. Please be sure to view these documents as there is very important information in them regarding this upcoming Fall term.
3. Last week I recommended for all students to be mindful of the ND Department of Health site and know the requirements regarding COVID quarantine/isolation for individuals coming to ND (primarily international students are impacted by this). Unfortunately, I don’t have a lot of concrete information like I was hoping to have at this point.

What I do know: Various departments on campus are working together to create protocols for students to allow for them to have a place to be in isolation and still have access to food, necessities, etc. As soon as those are finalized, they will be sent out to students. For those who have already contacted me with concerns, I will be in contact with you individually. If you haven’t contacted anyone yet but have a concern, please let either Dean Parrish, Laureen, or me know as soon as you can.
